Objectives
The main theme of the project is the personal development of students, being 13 to 16 years old, through the “dreams workshops”.
The term will be used to define a common European corporation in which the students will activate as “artists” guided by “masters” - the teachers. The artists' masterpiece and the actual works will be formed by “touches”; of personality, shades of skilfulness, social “landscape&rdquo, that fulfil all the creative expectations. At the end of the project the “dreams workshops” will become a tradition in the participating schools
and the &ldquodisciples” will turn, in their turn, into “masters” for their younger colleagues, eager to become mature.
The main aim of the project is the developement of the brain and the individual through creative activities. Students learn to support each other, maintain commitement and bond together. There will be an improvement and developement of students self-discipline, coordination, selfesteen, thinking skills, creative velities, personal expression, active participation, maturing relationships. The activities help students develop the skills necessary for a variety of occupations.
Also, they will cooperate in developing communication skills, they will work with each other in a manner compatible with the overcoming of different impediments that may occur in the process of communication (due to the fact the language used is English, the students will also improve the knowledge of foreign languages).
There is an opportunity to contrast the pasive attitude in solving different problems with an active attitude from promoting intercultural tolerance and understanding. There will be a developement of awareness among growing people so that they can contribute to solving global problems.
On the other hand, the teachers could use the creative approach of their students to rediscove their own creative side of character, ignored or placed at a second level for a long time. There will be an opportunity to interact with their colleagues from other European countries and to promote the developement of students through sharing of best practise and project results. Escaping the daily routine, the teachers involved in the partnership will be added new wings.
The impact on the long term beneficiaries, such as the local community, is major as today's students will be tomorrow's active members of the society. Thus, the school and local community must improve their relationships. Also, a new focus on the use of creative activities and promoting European learning partnerships will be provided.
